Unikron unveiled this new auto show iPad app which provides the latest in photos, video, and complete auto specifications.
The application includes an exterior colour selector which enabled users to try different chassis looks.
The app incorporated a 'Request-A-Test Drive' allowing users to schedule a spin in a new car with the dealership nearest to their home.
Another amazing Ad Week 2012 in Toronto
Once again, Unikron had the opportunity to participate as a Corporate Sponsor along with other well known companies such as Google, Yahoo and Microsoft Advertising. This year's sessions where lead by an impressive array of speakers from a variety of industries. All of the sessions, panels and events were outstanding and provided valuable information, insights and perspectives. Some of the highlights of week included an informative (and delicious) kick-off breakfast prepared by renowned Canadian chef Mark McEwan and featuring keynote speaker, David Droga, Founder and Creative Chairman at Dro5a who shared his thoughts on the status of Canada's advertising and creative talents and the future of the ad agency world.
Throughout the week, Facebook talked about how companies are successfully using Facebook to connect to consumers while Google discussed QR and trends in mobile advertising. IPSOS Reid Marketing presented the 10 ten most influential brands in Canada. Spoiler alert - Microsoft topped the list! We were also able to view some of the award winning campaigns from the 2012 Cassies Awards and to hear from some of the winning agencies and clients, including the Grand Prix winner Target Marketing and their client, Newfoundland/Labrador Tourism.
On the last day, James Stewart from Geneva Film Company returned to give us an update on what's been happening in the 3D world - Steven Spielberg and Martin Scorsese, where just two of world's top directors, to enter the fray of 3D film makers with their amazing movies TinTin and Hugo. We heard, and had the opportunity to judge for ourselves, the impact and effectiveness of 3D commercials vs. the same commercials in 2D. Best of all, we were able to see firsthand various models of 3d Smartphones, tablets, laptops and televisions. Finally, to close out the week, there was a viewing of some of worldâs best commercials from the 2011 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

FISKER
Unikron sent a camera crew to the launch of the new Fisker Karma in Don Mills Ontario. The video featured the newest in electric car innovation and highlighted a series of testimonials by excited test drivers throughout the day.
The video was then edited down the next day to an exciting 2-minute presentation then uploaded to Youtube.
By the end of the week the video had been seen by over 4,000 viewers without any promotion – and to date this video has been seen by over 63,500 viewers around the world - again reinforcing the theory that great video and Youtube results in huge power and wide reach online.
